To all of our dear friends and family- thank you for visiting this blog. My name is Maya Owens and Sue is my Auntie. If you are visiting this site, then you know that we are facing a difficult time as a family.

I, personally, have just experienced a very similar situation with my husband’s mother Nancy. And while it’s not exactly the same situation, the same feelings of worry are all to familiar.

I just spoke to both Ron (Son and oldest sibling) and Roxanne ( Daughter) and my heart is wrenching for the position they are in. Not only physical exhaustion (from the far travel and sleeplessness), but mental, and emotional exhaustion must be great.

While personally, my husband and I were the primary decision makers in dealing with our situation, we were fortunate enough to have family from nearby CA come to our support in Nevada.  There was much loss of work for my husband and the ongoing expenses alone were daunting. It is for that very reason that I am placing this blog here for them in hopes to help alleviate some of the financial stress this will cause.

Neither of them asked me to do this, but as a former web designer I have the ability to provide this convenience on the internet for their assistance. If you would like to contribute any amount of money to them in aid of travel expenses or future expenses I can promise you that this is a secure PayPal (payment gateway) for such that convenience.  In past years I have used this company and have never had issues with them as well as any of my clients. (In fact, Ebay uses PayPal as a secure payment gateway.) Rest assure that every penny will be used for their needs minus the small fees that PayPal charges for bank transfers. You will need to sign up for a PayPal account. PayPal will not sell or rent any of your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

I know we are all praying for Sue and strength for the family. Hopefully, this will help ease the stress. We love you guys and continue to be strong!
